Teaching Philosophy...

The way to personal expression in any media is through technical ability and the understanding of the media.  There are infinite methods to achieve the same goal, or make the same piece, some better some worse.  None are right and none are wrong.  I try to allow each student to find their method of attaining the skills necessary to express themselves through clay.  I demonstrate my techniques and other methods I know of, while allowing the student to develop their own methods and style.
